Google hardly needs any introduction. It's the most used search engine on the planet and is featured daily on tech news sites for its advancements in internet-based computing.
So how does Google apply to our business?
Besides being our favorite search engine, OBT uses Google for a variety of tools. We rely on GoogleTalk to provide a secure chat interface throughout our day-to-day work. We use Google Analytics on our website and each of our customers' sites to monitor web traffic and record visitor statistics. We both serve and buy Google Ads. The list goes on. As Google's offerings have increased, we've found different ways to use their tools as part of our operations. In the future, we expect to use the Chrome OS for our on-site technicians' laptops, as it will allow them to upload all documents, reports, etc. directly to an online repository.
Google shows no signs of stopping the explosive growth and development that has come from their developers. As they continue to grow their tool suite, OBT will continue to evaluate and implement the tools that we see as most beneficial to our own business and to our clients.
